This page lists every cookie Jemma sets, why we set it, and how long it lasts. It accompanies our Privacy Policy — the privacy policy explains how we handle your data overall; this page focuses on the small files browsers store on your device.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Some cookies keep you signed in across pages. Others tell us which features get used so we can build the right things. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising today; if that ever changes, this page will update first and the cookie banner will ask for fresh consent.
Strictly necessary
These cookies make Jemma work. You can't opt out without losing basic functionality (you'd be signed out, the consent banner would re-appear every page load, etc.).

Analytics
These cookies are set only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. They power our product analytics so we can see which features are visited, where flows drop off, and which calculators get saved. None of this is shared with advertisers or sold. Per our event taxonomy, analytics events never include your email, license number, pay stub file path, full name, phone number, or street address.

If you click Reject in the banner, none of these cookies are ever set and no tracking events fire from your visits.
Payment
When you start a checkout flow, Stripe loads a small set of cookies for fraud prevention. These are not present during normal browsing and are required by Stripe to process payments. See Stripe's cookie policy for the full inventory on their side.

Advertising
Jemma does not currently set advertising cookies and does not load Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, or any other ad-platform tracking on its pages. If we ever add these, this page will be updated and the cookie banner will request fresh consent before anything fires.
Managing your preferences
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer. Clicking it clears your stored choice and re-opens the banner so you can pick again.

Changes to this policy
When the cookie inventory changes — new analytics tools, ad platforms, payment providers, anything that adds or removes a row from the tables above — we'll update this page and bump the “Last updated” date. If a new category requires fresh consent (e.g. advertising cookies), the cookie banner will re-prompt before any new tracker fires.
